Embracing Community: SIET’s Participation in HEB-Ashram Community Engagement 2024

On the 28th of January 2024, SIET had the opportunity to showcase its commitment to the community by actively participating in the HEB-Ashram Community Engagement 2024. This event was not just a gathering; it was a celebration of unity, resilience, and support. Purpose was to support the HEB-Ashram and their shared vision of uplifting the lives of their residents, both present and past, their families as well as other beneficiaries.

SIET’s presence at the event was marked by a vibrant booth that showcased the organization’s ethos and initiatives. What made the booth truly special was the presence of SIET beneficiaries, who joined us to share their remarkable stories of transformation. Their presence added a personal touch to our booth.

Engagement was the key theme of our booth, as we interacted with visitors, shared information about our programs, and facilitated engaging activities. From interactive games to informative discussions, our booth buzzed with energy and enthusiasm, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

The event’s guest-of-honor, Mr Vikram Nair, MP for Sembawang GRC, who is also the President of SIET, graced the occasion.
Our participation in the HEB-Ashram Community Engagement 2024 was more than just a networking opportunity; it was a meaningful exchange of experiences and insights. We learned from the HEB-Ashram community and, in turn, shared our knowledge and resources, enriching each other’s lives in the process.
